Countryside understands that often a person entering a skilled nursiing community is placed in the uncomfortable position of leaving their pet(s) behind.  We try to make that transition much easier.  Pets are a very important and stabilizing part of everyone's life, and therefore we incorporate them into our community.  We strongly encourage family to bring in pets to visit with our residents.  Visiting pets must be leashed, non-aggressive to people and other animals, and up-to-date on all vaccinations.  

We have three on-site dogs, which have become an integral part of our community.  Pongo, Tank and Lexi routinely perform their "healing" routines through visits to residents rooms, providing lots of kisses and comfort.  Their daily antics consistently entertain staff, residents and visitors alike.

In addition to traditional pets, Countryside also has multiple fish tanks and a bird aviary to provide additional ways to enjoy God's creatures.
